LOCATION SURVEY

 

This is the interior of the initial location. Although it was perfect and suited the aesthetic of the film, we couldn’t film here because there was too much light and the area itself was too dirty to film in. The walls also had a lot of fungus on them which spread a pungent smell across the room, making it difficult to breathe

These are pictures of the exterior of the abandoned house we filmed in. The exterior was perfect for the quick shots as it showed the house was abandoned and hadn’t been lived in for a long time. There were vines and fungi growing on the walls of the house and there was a lot of dirt and dust everywhere. The doors were jammed and the windows were stained

This is the interior of the location where we filmed most of our scenes. The ambiance was perfect and it was dark and shady with lots of dirt on the floor. This room fit the criteria we designed perfectly. The window was broken and there wasn’t much light peering in which made it suitable for the scene.
